Program Description
The Sport and Recreation Studies program is designed to prepare students for careers in sport and recreation administration and/or to improve their knowledge and expertise as coaches and teachers in leadership positions. The overall goal(s) of the program are to provide students with knowledge and experiences which improve the depth and breadth of professional competency, enhance written and oral communication, promote an appreciation for the ways research can inform practice and/or prepare them for advanced study at the doctoral level.
