MATH 672 - Numerical Linear Algebra

Analysis of numerical methods for solving linear systems of equations. Methods for solving underdetermined and overdetermined systems. Methods for numerically calculating eigenvalues and eigenvectors of symmetric and non-symmetric matrices. Knowledge of programming language and of matrix algebra. Pre-requisite:  MATH 315 and 571. Credits: 3
