GSE 741 - Quantitative Remote Sensing for Terrestrial Monitoring

The course will describe the science, algorithms, and computational approaches to generate and assess derived satellite products for long term Earth system monitoring. Emphasis will be on the principles of optical remote sensing and state-of-the-art quantitative algorithms for estimating biophysical and geophysical land surface variables from remotely sensed observations.
