EE 670 - Information and Signal Processing Foundation of information theory and its relationship to the measure and transmission of information; comparison of analog and digital system implementations. Topics include random processes, signal representation, spectral analysis, channel capacity, rate distortion, coding, data compression. Z-transforms and digital filtering.
