NURS 381 - Family and Communication

Credits: 3
This course focuses on communication as an intervention with family as client. The student will be exposed to major family and communication theories. Emphasis is on holistic family assessment and interventions. The professional value of “Autonomy” or the patient’s right to self-determination is the value-based behavior central to this course.Prerequisites: Prerequisite or corequisite course NURS 222.
