ENGL 23 - English as a Second Language: Listening and Reading, Grammar, ComprehensionCredits: (3-5)
A multi-skills course preliminary to ENGL 003 and ENGL 013. Reading and listening comprehension, vocabulary building, pronunciation, grammar and sentence structure, and formal and informal written and spoken English. A major focus will be written and oral sources.Prerequisites: P, placement or permission of the instructor. May be required instead of or in addition to other English courses.
