An introduction to the basic principles of chemistry for students needing an extensive background in chemistry (including chemistry majors, science majors, and pre-professional students). Completion of a high school course in chemistry is recommended. Laboratory designed to accompany CHEM 112. Prerequisites: MATH 114, MATH 115, MATH 120, MATH 121-121L, MATH 123, MATH 125, or MATH/STAT 281 or concurrent. Corequisites: CHEM 112L-112. Notes: Course meets SGR #6.
