ECE 464 - Parent/Child Relationships in a Professional Context

Credits: 3
The focus of this course includes home-based, school-based, and community-based communication and involvement strategies with families. Students will learn about the diversity of families within society today. Theoretical, international, and other diverse perspectives on partnerships between families and professionals will be explored. Prerequisites: Admission into PSII; ECE 328-328L , ECE 361-361L , ECE 362-362L  and ECE 363-363L .  Corequisites: ECE 488 . Notes: Students enrolled in ECE prior to Fall 2012 will take the course as ECE 364 - Parent/Child Relationships in a Professional Context.
