ABS 706 - Natural Resources Management Advanced study in natural resource management. Credit earned will depend on the module(s) taken. Each module requires a colloquium (reports and discussions) of current investigations related to the module selected. Course may be repeated as long as the module(s) are not repeated. Potential modules include: advanced ecology, advanced plant ecology, advanced soil genesis, agristology, agroecology, algae, applied insect ecology, aquatic plants, chemical properties of soils, disturbance ecology, ecological monitoring, ecotoxicology, environmental biology, environmental soil chemistry, field studies in pedology, grown water protection, landscape ecology, physical properties of soils, precision farming, soil and plant analysis; soil microbiology; soil N, P, and K; soil/plant secondary macro/micronutrients; water quality in agriculture; and other topics as needed.Prerequisites: P, consent of module instructor.Corequisites: Corequisite course: ABS 706L.Credits: (1-10)
