Program Information
The Rural Health Certificate will prepare students to address the unique healthcare needs of rural and underserved communities by providing specialized knowledge and skills. The purpose is to equip students with expertise in rural health disparities, healthcare delivery in resource-limited settings, and innovative solutions such as telehealth, positioning them to work effectively in these environments. The certificate is recommended for undergraduate students in nursing or other health-related degree programs, however, is open to students from any major.
