CHRD 647 - Pharmacological Issues in Mental Health Counseling Credits: 3 This course provides a knowledge base for counselors who are working with clients taking psychoactive medications. The major aims of this course are to enable mental health counselors to be knowledgeable and to actively participate in professional mental health staff meetings, consulting from an informed perspective with psychiatrists and other medical professionals concerning clients who are taking prescription medications.
Registration Restriction: Acceptance in the Counseling and Human Resource Development program or instructor permission.
