EDFN 769 - Literacy Curriculum Mapping (COM) Credits: 1
As a follow-up to Literacy Curriculum Evaluation, this course focuses on the development and refinement of literacy curriculum maps based on evaluation findings. Participants will apply principles of effective literacy instruction to design cohesive, standards-aligned curriculum maps that integrate evidence-based strategies and support diverse learners. Emphasis will be placed on using data to inform curriculum decisions, ensuring instructional coherence across grade levels, and adapting curriculum maps to improve student outcomes. By the end of the course, participants will create a functional literacy curriculum map tailored to their educational context.
