EDFN 766 - Disciplinary Literacy Coaching (COM) Credits: 1
This course prepares literacy coaches to support teachers in integrating literacy instruction into content areas such as science, social studies, and math. Participants will explore the principles of disciplinary literacy, examining how reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills enhance content learning. Emphasis will be placed on coaching strategies that help educators incorporate evidence-based literacy practices into their subject-area instruction.
