MATH 770 - Numerical Linear Algebra

Credits: 3
Analysis of numerical methods for solving linear systems of equations. Methods for solving underdetermined and overdetermined systems. Methods for numerically calculating eigenvalues and eigenvectors of symmetric and non-symmetric matrices.  Knowledge of programming language and of matrix algebra.

Prerequisites: MATH 315 and MATH 571 .
