VET 646 - Public Health Credits: 2
An epidemiological approach to veterinary public health, including major zoonoses, animal sentinels, meat and milk inspection, food safety, environment, occupational health and safety, euthanasia and carcass disposal methods, cruelty investigation, and animal welfare issues.
Registration Restriction: Enrollment in year two of the Professional Program in Veterinary Medicine or instructor consent.
