EE 218 - Linear Circuits II Credits: 3 This course is designed to provide the electrical engineering student with an understanding of the basic concepts of the profession. Topics covered include 2nd order resistive, capacitive, inductive circuits, transient circuits, and sinusoidal analysis. Students are introduced to parametric and frequency response simulation methods using software engineering tools, such as SPICE and MATLAB. Students also investigate essential principles by conducting laboratory experiments related to the topics studied in the classroom.
Prerequisites: “C” or better in MATH 125 and “C” or better in EE 216 or EE 220-220L . Corequisites: EE 218L and MATH 321 .
