NURS 468 - Palliative Care Nursing

This course examines the principles of primary palliative care nursing and how they can be integrated across all settings to improve symptom management and quality of life for patients with chronic illness.  Students will explore pain management, comfort care, communication strategies, and ethical dilemmas at end-of-life while focusing on the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs of patients and their families.
