NURS 466 - Healthcare Systems and Informatics

Credits: 3
This course examines the role of nursing informatics in healthcare systems for delivery of safe, high-quality client care.  Through analysis of healthcare systems and informatics, the registered nurse student will understand the impact of access to care and opportunities for collaboration on client health status. The student will investigate quality indicators, utilization of informatics, and organizational ethics to improve client outcomes.

Prerequisites: Admission to RN to BSN program.
