NURS 462 - Population Health: Nursing Perspectives

Credits: 3
This course introduces the registered nurse student to the concept of the client as a member of the population.  The student examines population health issues and the role of the nurse in providing care, with an emphasis is on community assessment, program planning, and evaluation. The student will complete experiential learning in rural and/or urban community settings.

Prerequisites: NURS 300  and admission to the RN to BSN program.
