MICR 433-533 - Medical Microbiology (COM)Credits: 3 Principles of medical microbiology including a survey of the most clinically significant bacterial, fungal, parasitic, and viral diseases in the world, with an emphasis on those most prevalent in North America. Case studies will address: morphology, physiology, and virulence of the microbes and the epidemiology, treatment, and prevention of the diseases they cause. Prerequisites: CHEM 106 or CHEM 112 and MICR 231-231L or MICR 233-233L .
