NFS 751 - Trandisciplinary Childhood Obesity Prevention II

The purpose of this course is to examine the philosophy, goals, and methodologies related within the concept of childhood obesity research.  The class will include study design, survey development, evaluation and application of basic research tools.  In addition, students will critically evaluate different types of research in relation to childhood obesity.  Class discussion will focus on the multiple factors that impact childhood obesity and potential measurement of these factors int he outcome of childhood obesity prevention.  Co-requisites:  NFS 751L. Required.  Pre-requisites:  HPER 783. Corequisites: NFS 751L Prerequisites: HPER 783
