CHEM 710 - Philosophy of Science In this course, differing viewpoints about the enterprise of science, research, and teaching will be explored, including Kuhnian, Popperian, Vygotskian, and Feyerabendian traditions. A portion of the course will also focus on the social aspects in the learning and teaching of science. Students will be expected to develop a personal teaching philosophy built upon their beliefs of how science works. Pre-requisite: instructor consent. Credits: 2
