EE 516 - Passive and Active Filters

The analysis and design of passive and active filters for electrical signals. Topics include Butterworth, Chebyshev, Bessel-Thompson response characteristics, biquad and Sallen-Key circuits, frequency and impedance transformations, sensitivity, gyrators, negative impedance elements, leap-frog flters and switched capacitor filters.Prerequisites: EE 321 or consent.Credits: 3
