Program Information
The B.S. in Manufacturing Automation and Electronics Engineering Technology program is committed to providing hands-on learning, real-world innovation, and career readiness. The program does this by blending theory with extensive laboratory experience. The program starts with foundational electronics including circuits, analog systems, control systems, and manufacturing processes. These basic concepts are expanded upon in more advanced courses to provide a broad education in electronics and automation where the student can excel in a number of workplace settings as technical and engineering professionals. Students can work in automation, communications, robotics, power systems, circuit board design, industrial controls, networking, and industrial integration.
Accreditation
The Manufacturing Automation and Electronics Engineering Technology program is accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, under the commission’s General Criteria and Program Criteria for Electrical / Electronics Engineering Technology and Similarly Named Programs.

The goal of the academic advising guide sheets and sample plans of study is to promote undergraduate student success by guiding all students to timely completion of an undergraduate degree. Students are not limited to the course sequence provided for their academic program. Instead, the sample plan of study is one possible path to completing your degree and is meant to be used as a guide for planning purposes in consultation with an academic advisor. The plans also help students prepare for meetings with their academic advisor and track their progress in their selected academic program. |
