Program Information

As a political science minor, students can learn about American politics, how governments and leaders relate to each other in times of peace and conflict, the US Constitution and basic rights and liberties, as well as how people make political decisions. Political science graduates pursue a variety of career paths, such as lawyers, journalists, data and financial analysts, state and local government, legislative staff, nonprofits, issue advocacy and public management.

Course Delivery Format

The program offers both online and on-campus courses.

Academic Requirements


No grade below a “C” in political science courses may be counted toward the minor.
