Program Information
The Agricultural Marketing minor exposes students to the details of agricultural commodity market and provides training in both the theory and practice of pricing tools such as futures and options. This minor will benefit students pursuing careers in commodity marketing, risk management, production agriculture, agribusiness, rural banking, and other fields.
Student Learning Outcomes
Graduates will
- be able to use analytical methods to make effective decisions.
- be able to communicate effectively.
- be able to evaluate matters of ethics in the profession and the culture more broadly.
- have the requisite body of knowledge in management and economics.
Academic Requirements
A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required for the courses in the minor.
Course Delivery Format
The program offers courses on campus, with limited online coursework, usually during the summer.
