Electrical Engineering

Program Description

The program offers a variety of courses that encompass a broad range of Electrical Engineering areas including: alternative energy systems; biomedical engineering; communications and fiber optics; micro and nano-electronic materials, devices and sensors; photovoltaic devices; power engineering; and signal and image processing. The department’s graduate faculty conducts active research in these areas using modern facilities and equipment, and offer advising in these areas.  Details about the PhD in the Geospatial Science and Engineering program are found in that section.
