Requirements for Nutrition Minor: 18 cr

Required courses include:

NFS 141-141L - Foods Principles and Lab Credits: 4
NFS 321 - Human Nutrition Credits: 3
NFS 323 - Nutrition Across the Life Cycle Credits: 3
NFS 422-522 - Advanced Human Nutrition Credits: 4
NFS 492/592 - Topics Credits: (1-3)

Plus one of the following:

NFS 322-322L - Assessment Skills in Nutrition and Lab Credits: 3
NFS 423-423L/523-523L - Medical Nutrition Therapy I and Lab Credits: 3
NFS 424-424L/524-524L - Community Nutrition and Lab Credits: 3

Note:

Any required prerequisites must also be taken. Students planning a minor must receive departmental approval. Higher level mathematics or chemistry course may be accepted with department approval.
