The graduate programs in the department lead to a 12-credit Applied Physics graduate certificate, a Professional Science master’s degree with an Applied Physics Emphasis, the M.S. or Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry or the Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry. Research programs exist in condensed matter (materials) physics, health/nuclear physics, analytical/environmental chemistry, biochemistry, chemical education, and organic/natural products chemistry.
