AIE 424 - Generative Artificial Intelligence [##PENDING BOR APPROVAL] Credits: 3
This course introduces the fundamentals and engineering of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) systems that create text, images, code, and other content. Students study modern generative model architectures such as large language models, diffusion models, and multimodal foundation models, along with the data pipelines used to collect, preprocess, train, and deploy these models.
Prerequisites: AIE 420 and (STAT 281 or STAT 381 ).
