GEOG 479 - AI and Advanced Geospatial Techniques

Credits: 2
Applies core principles of Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI) to solve complex problems, emphasizing embedded AI tools in industry GIS software. Focuses on automating analytics, elevating predictive modeling (including Time Series AI), and deploying pre-trained and custom deep learning models. Students develop algorithmic scripting skills for spatial optimization, imagery analysis, and Generative AI workflows.

Prerequisites: GEOG 372  and GEOG 372L .
Corequisites: GEOG 479L .
