GEOG 383 - Cartography

This course explores the art and science of creating maps, encompassing the principles of graphic design, geographic information systems (GIS), and spatial data analysis to communicate geographic information effectively through map design. Topics include map projections, symbolization, generalization, color theory, and typology.
