SOC 283 - Working with Diverse Populations Credits: 3 This course provides an overview of the experience of selected cultural and racial groups in human and social services. It promotes an understanding of group differences and the impact of those differences on the delivery of human services. Students will learn how to apply practical skills and methodologies related to effective human resource work in diverse employment settings and social service delivery to members of diverse population.
