PHA 702 - Indian Health Services Practice Experience Credits: 5
Indian health service pharmacy practice is a significant part of pharmaceutical care in the state of South Dakota. There are a variety of locations where this experience is available. During this experience, the student will be introduced to pharmaceutical care practice in the Federal Government setting of the Indian Health Service. Areas of emphasis will include patient counseling, federal rules and regulations regarding pharmacy practice and formulary management techniques.
