PHA 701 - Home Health/Hospice Practice Experience Credits: 5
In this pharmacy practice experience the student will be placed with a preceptor that specializes in home health care practice and / or hospice care. Preceptors are typically involved in delivering home care services / patient monitoring. These patients have a variety of needs often including long-term intravenous antibiotics, total parenteral nutrition (TPN) on a continuing basis, pain management services, wound care and management of multiple medication regimens.
