EDFN 725 - Education in a Pluralistic Society Credits: 3 Focus on school issues surrounding pluralism in a democratic society. This course relates to working with the diversity of populations within our schools. This diversity is represented in our schools by the multi-cultural nature of American society, and differences associated with exceptionality, gender, age, religion, and socio- economic status. The course will focus on preparing educators to confront issues relating to pluralism and diversity and to work productively in a variety of settings.
