ME 438 - Machine Design-Case Studies

Credits: 3
Study of stress and strain as applied to mechanical engineering problems. Residual stresses and dynamic loading. Theories of failure. Design of components that form a complete working system. Design analysis of various current case studies.

Prerequisites: EM 321 .
Corequisites: ME 438L .
