CEE 754 - Advanced Design of Steel Structures

Credits: 3
Review of LRFD concepts and basic member design, fundamentals of ASD, column buckling, plate buckling, fundamentals of structural stability, frame stability and frame design.  Design of plate girders, composite girders, bracing members and the basics of PR and FR connections.

Prerequisites: CEE 455.
