HSC 733 - Environmental HealthCredits: 3 This course examines causes and approaches to control environmental health problems including consideration of human health risks and effects of biological, chemical, and physical agents affecting individuals and communities. Topics include the environmental regulatory framework; identification of susceptible populations; approaches to environmental risk assessment, abatement, protection, and prevention; environmental justice principles and stakeholder interests; and the public health basis for environmental health policy decisions.
