Introduction to the properties of matter, atomic structure, bonding, stoichiometry, kinetics, equilibrium, states of matter, solutions, and acid-base concepts. Laboratory designed to accompany CHEM 106. Prerequisites: MATH 101 or higher (MATH 102, MATH 115, MATH 120, MATH 121, MATH 123, MATH 125 or placement). Corequisites: CHEM 106L-106. Notes: * Course meets SGR #6.
