GEOG 560 - Geopolitics

An introduction to geopolitics that addresses the fundamental links between power and space at the global, national, and local scales. Focuses on classical geopolitics, critical geopolitics, political-economic approaches to geopolitics, world orders and hegemonic cycles, historical development of the international state system, and geography of imperialism.(Beginning Fall 2012) Credits: 3
