EES 525 - Disturbance Ecology

Introduction to basic concepts of disturbance ecology. Demonstration and discussion of linkages between basic biology and management of natural resources. Introduction to design, implementation and analysis of biological monitoring and assessment of habitat changes associated with pollution and other forms of ecological disturbance.
