CD 622 - Local Economic Analysis This is an applied course that teaches economic base theory, a theory of regional economics, multipliers and how local economics are affected by external events. The course teaches basic methods for the analysis of a local economy. Methods include: trend analysis, location quotients, shift share analysis and retail trade analysis. The level of analysis is limited only by the level of data available. This is an existing course at Missouri. This course is available only to graduate students registered in the Community Development specialization. Credits: 1
