NRM 564 - Ecosystem Ecology


Study of energy and material flows through the living (plants, animals, microbes) and non-living (soils, atmosphere) components of ecological systems.  Discussion of the major elements cycles and patterns of energy flow through ecosystems, including how those fluxes and their controls differ for different ecosystems.  Linkages between ecosystem structure and function will be emphasized. Prerequisites: BIOL 311 Credits: 3
