HIST 410 - World History Since 1945 (G)

This course will involve a survey of people, events, discoveries, and trends that have affected the lives and thoughts of people throughout the world in the years since the end of World War II. Topics may include the Cold War and life in the Communist bloc, China, decolonization, economic and cultural globalization, the formation of the European Union, and the effects of modern biochemical, communication, and transportation technologies.Credits: 3
