HFM 370 - Lodging Operations and Purchasing Management

Functions of management as applied to the lodging industry including organizing, staffing, controlling, planning, purchasing and marketing for the front office, housekeeping, and maintenance departments. Industry terminology and methods of operations will be explored for all levels of service and segments in the lodging industry. The lab portion will include on-site workshops as well as field experiences.Credits: 3Prerequisites: P, HFM 171.
