PS 543 - Bioenergy Feedstock Production System

Overview of production and characteristics of cultivated crops, perennial grasses, and woody species as feedstocks for bioenergy.  Fundamentals of plant growth factors, culture, harvest and storage, quality and improvement, and introduction to environmental impact, modeling, and resource utilization.  Pre-requisites:  MATH 102, BIOL 101, or PS 103. Credits: 3
