This is the first course in a two semester algebra-level sequence, covering fundamental concepts of physics. The sequence is appropriate for preprofessional majors requiring two semesters of physics. Topics include classical mechanics, thermodynamics, and waves. Prerequisites: Take one of the following: MATH 102, 115, 120, 121, 123, 125, 281, or consent. Corequisites: PHYS 111L-PHYS 111.
