GS 100 - University ExperienceCredits: 1 The primary purpose of this course is to help students transition successfully to the university. The focus of the course will be to familiarize students with campus resources and to facilitate their engagement in the university experience. Through group discussions with a faculty mentor, students will develop critical thinking and social interaction skills to prepare them for the academic environment. Students will become active participants in the university resources, college policies, role of the academic adviser, student support services, and university academic requirements.
