ABS 703 - Microbial Systems
Advanced study in microbial systems. Credit earned will depend on the module(s) taken. Each module requires a colloquium (reports and discussions) of current investigations related to the module selected. Course may be repeated as long as the module(s) are not repeated. Potential topic modules could include: bacterial molecular, virology, prokaryotic evolution and phylogeny, metabolism of microbes, bacterial systematics, industrial microbiology, ruminology, dairy microbiology, viral infections, bacterial infections, viral and bacterial disease of plants, mycology, and other topics as needed. Pre-requisite: module instructor consent.Credits: (1-10)
